Your words can significantly change a situation, let reason and not anger be your response
People with understanding control their anger; a hot temper shows great foolishness. Pr14:29. Your ability to reason quickly rather than responding with a knee jerk reaction can either make or break a situation. A hot temper can reveal deeper undealt with issues and the inability to see things from anothers perspective. A reasoned response where we hold back our anger and attempt to bring perspective into a situation can save the moment rather than throwing more fuel on the fire. If you’re struggling with anger, ask God to reveal the root and ask Him to bring healing into that situation. God loves you and desires you to be whole in every area of your life. If you’re facing a situation, say a quiet prayer before responding that may be just enough time to allow you understanding of what’s going on. Praise God today that He is our healer, not only physically, but also emotionally and in whatever way we need.
