We need to remind ourselves regularly of all that God has done in our life

This was the same place where Abram had built the altar, and there he worshiped the LORD again. Gen 13:4. Many times in the Old Testament altars were built to serve as reminders of what the Lord had done. Today, with so many distractions in our life, we should consider building our own altars or rather regular reminders to all the things that God has done in our life. Perhaps writing your own book of God’s grace in your life, or keeping a journal of answered prayer, whatever it is, it should stir your heart to thank God for all that He’s done, and stir your faith to keep believing Him for more of His grace and favour in your life. Praise God today that His promises, gifts and plans for your life still stand, so as you regularly look back at all that He’s done in your life, keep praising and worshipping Him, and believing that He is faithful to complete all that He’s started in your life.
