We need to align our priorities with God’s priorities

But many who are the greatest now will be least important then, and those who seem least important now will be the greatest then.” Mk 10:31. God has a different order and value system to ours. Many people are focused on career, wealth and what this life has to offer. Yet God is looking to those who have a heart after His heart, those who desire to make a difference in the lives of others and those who desire to share the eternal hope we have in Jesus. In fact all of these elements are intertwined into the plans that God has for our life so that God will be glorified through our life. When we get to heaven the emphasis will not be on what we had accumulated or the status or career we had achieved, but rather what did we do with them. Praise God today that as we seek Him, He will guide us and help us to make His priorities our priorities so that we can walk in the fulfilment of the life He has given us.
