We don’t go through the Word, the Word goes through us

For the word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. Heb4:12. The Word is alive and active. When we read the Bible, we don’t go through it, it goes through us! As we read the Word we will be inspired by what God can do, but also challenged by what God asks us to do. God has a knack of putting His finger on exactly what He wants us to deal with. In those times respond quickly, as you won’t feel at peace until you do. Responding to God will also draw you closer to Him. God’s Word brings healing and freedom, and often the things that have kept us bound don’t want to let go,that may involve a struggle as we set our heart to follow God’s way. Praise God today, that His Word brings us freedom, joy, liberty and peace as we set our heart towards Him and walk in His ways.
