Pride leads to conflict; those who take advice are wise

Pride leads to conflict; those who take advice are wise. Pr 13:10. Pride can be so destructive when someone would rather ruin a relationship than lose face or acknowledge they may be wrong. Pride puts itself above others, dismissing another’s viewpoint without consideration. Yet God’s Word tells us to seek advice, to confirm our thinking that could realign how we see things. When we recognise that our way may not be the only way, and allow ourselves to be informed, we can make decisions that will also strengthen relationships. God created us for relationship so it’s important to value what others say, even though we may not always agree, and to maintain a humble heart with a spirit of compassion, that will often pave the way for greater understanding. Praise God today that as we keep a prayerful attitude and humble heart in all our decisions, we will have favour with both God and man. Prayerchair.org
