Prayer draws us closer to God

Once Jesus was in a certain place praying. As he finished, one of his disciples came to him and said, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” Jesus said, “This is how you should pray: “Father, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come soon. Give us each day the food we need… Lk 11:1-3. Jesus’ disciples knew the importance of prayer as they saw Jesus praying or withdrawing to pray. They didn’t ask Jesus how to do miracles that they would have seen daily, but asked Him how to pray. Jesus taught them the Lord”s prayer, that highlighted the importance of regular prayer as we first honour God and seek His will and plans for our life and our world before we pray for our daily provisions and our needs. Praise God today that a lifestyle of daily prayer will draw us closer to Him that will see us walk in His ways and see His plans come to fruition in our life. Prayerchair.org

Come and join us on the streets on a Saturday to see if this is something you would like to become involved with.

We hold regular training days to ensure everyone who ministers on the streets is given the training they require.

If street evangelism is not your calling we also need intercessors to pray for the teams as well as website and admin assistance.

Thanks, we will be intouch soon.
