Peace comes when we let Jesus rule in our heart

And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. Col 3:15. Peace is not the absence of conflict but rather it’s the authority we have over the impact of chaos in our life. With Jesus in our heart we can walk through the eye of the storm, and the storm won’t touch us. We know that we are never alone as He is always with us. He is our strength and will direct the outcomes as we entrust ourself to Him. We must be continually thankful for His blessings in our life and for what we have. We should continually ask God for peace, and not just the means, as all these things will come as His peace fills our life. Draw near to Him daily so that when troubles do come, we can just rest in Him as our confidence and hope is in Him. Praise God today for His peace beyond words that will never fail us as we keep close to Him.
