Mediate on God’s word to seek greater understanding

Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. But they delight in the law of the LORD, meditating on it day and night. Ps1:1-2. There’s a big difference between Eastern meditation and biblical meditation. Eastern meditation focusses on emptying the mind that can open you up to unwanted spiritual influences that can negatively impact your life, whilst biblical mediation focusses on filling your mind with the word of God, where you keep turning over specific verses in your mind and reflecting on them and pondering on them, and as you do, God will give you greater insight and revelation. This is so important in applying God’s Word to our life. Praise God today for His word that’s our road map for life, and as we mediate on His Word we will have greater insight into His direction and guidance for every area of our life.
