Leadership that honours God, puts the interests of others first

“Whoever wants to be first must take last place and be the servant of everyone else.” Mk 9:35b. True leadership puts the interests of others first. Leadership is earned and not taken. When you put others first to build them up and support them, your efforts will be seen by others and progressively your faithfulness, determination and reliability will bring promotion. Our hearts desire is to honour God and to serve Him in whatever way we’re called. If that calling is to serve others, God will bring promotion as you are faithful to your calling. God is not interested in those who desire status and recognition, as that flows from a prideful heart. God can not use these people who believe only in themselves and fail to recognise God’s leading and direction. Praise God today that as we are faithful in whatever God calls us to do, serving others to the best of our ability, promotion will follow. Prayerchair.org
