Keeping your eyes on God will keep your peace
So humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Jm 4:17. When we recognise who we are in Christ Jesus that already puts us in a position of spiritual authority. Whilst the devil can’t read your mind, he can read the thoughts he suggests by observing your countenance. How you respond to what he is sowing into your thoughts will empower Him if you come into agreement with those thoughts, or cause Him to flee if you recognise where your help comes from. When faced with negative thoughts, start praising God and thanking Him that He will bring the victory and that your are a victorious child of our God Most High. As you start to praise God at those times you will be resisting the devil and those wrong thoughts will quickly go. Praise God today that as we keep our focus on Him and not on negative thoughts or on our problems, we can walk in victory always. Prayerchair.org
