Keeping close to God will sustain you through the trials of life

“And Solomon, my son, learn to know the God of your ancestors intimately. Worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind. For the LORD sees every heart and knows every plan and thought. If you seek him, you will find him. But if you forsake him, he will reject you forever. 1 Chr 29:9. Some of David’s final words to his son Solomon, before he succeeded David as king. David understood intimate relationship with God that sustained Him through some of the extreme trials he had to endure before he would be King. David understood that his trials were preparing him for what God had next for his life so David never lost hope. Even in His trials he praised and worshipped God knowing that God would never leave Him  but would bring Him through. Praise God today that as we continue to draw near to Him daily with our whole heart and mind He will always be with us to sustain us and direct our steps.
