Jesus is the bread of life, eat daily!
“I tell you the truth, anyone who believes has eternal life. Yes, I am the bread of life! Your ancestors ate manna in the wilderness, but they all died. Anyone who eats the bread from heaven, however, will never die. Jn 6;47- 50. Jesus is the bread of life. When God fed the Israelites mana from heaven it sustained them for a day but God sent Jesus to earth as the bread of life to reconcile people to Himself forever through the cross. So whoever believes in Jesus and accepts Him into their heart is effectively partaking of the bread of life that gives eternal life. When we feed on Jesus and His Word, it sustains us and guides us through life. Jesus desires to be an active part of your life and as you spend time with Him, He will bring about outcomes to fill you with His peace and joy. Thank Jesus for the cross today that He has become our bread of life so that as we believe in Him we will live forever.
