Jesus has set us free to live an abundant life without fear or condemnation

“I tell you, her sins-and they are many-have been forgiven, so she has shown me much love. But a person who is forgiven little shows only little love.” Lk7:47. The redemptive power of God’s love is truly powerful. We still sing Amazing Grace that was written by John Newton,a slave trader in 1779. Its hard to imagine the deep pain and sorrow He must have carried at the time he met Jesus, who set Him free. We must never forget that Jesus has removed our past transgressions from us so that we can now live differently without guilt or condemnation. Often for those who have been raised in blessed families, its hard to appreciate the fullness of what Jesus did for them. Yet Jesus has given us a fresh start and a renewed hope that the best is yet to come as we keep our hope and trust in Him. Thank God today that Jesus has set us free to live a glorious and abundant life with Him, now and forever. Prayerchair.org
