If Jesus made time to pray often, we should too.

But despite Jesus’ instructions, the report of his power spread even faster, and vast crowds came to hear him preach and to be healed of their diseases.  But Jesus often withdrew to the wilderness for prayer. Lk 5:15-16. In the busyness of life, Jesus could have kept going, preaching more, healing more people, after all His time on earth was limited. But no, Jesus who taught us how to pray, who gave us the Lord’s prayer, withdrew often. If anyone knew the importance of prayer it was Jesus. He was God, yet He prayed to the Father, if Jesus understood the frailty of our human condition and the need to pray, surely we must also withdraw OFTEN to PRAY. Many answers to issues in our life lie in the need to pray. Our freedom, release, provision, healing and peace all have their roots in prayer. If we are willing so is God. Praise God today that He is a prayer answering God who desires to bless His children.
