God will strengthen us as we wait on Him

But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31. When you wait on the Lord there is a divine exchange, He takes our abilities and weaknesses and replaces them with His ability and strength. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless (v29). It's His desire that you soar like an eagle and that you're the head and not the tail. When we wait on the Lord we recognise that He's the great way maker and that He'll go before us. It's in that place we are strengthened to keep going and God will equip us with what we need to deal with one day at a time. Waiting on the Lord also draws us closer to God so that we can sense His direction. Praise God today that as we take our eyes off our problems and wait on the Lord, He'll strengthen us and lead us into victory.
