God’s Word is just as powerful today as the day it was written
For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes-the Jew first and also the Gentile. Rom1:16. The Word is transformational, it changes us from the inside out. When we invite Jesus into our heart, that conscious decision brings our spirit to life that fills us with God’s peace. It releases us from the burdens of our past mess as we realise we’ve been forgiven and given a fresh start. We don’t go through the Word, the Word goes through us. God loves us too much to leave us as we are and starts a renewal process to bring out His best through our life. As we trust Him and allow His Word to change us, we will see things from a different perspective, and we’ll also sense His calling and purpose for our life being impressed upon our Spirit. Praise God today for the power of His Word that is still changing lives as it did on the day it was written.
