God’s way is to love your enemies, as it will expose the error of their ways

If your enemies are hungry, give them food to eat. If they are thirsty, give them water to drink. You will heap burning coals of shame on their heads, and the LORD will reward you.PR25:21-22. When you step out to bless your enemies and those who hurt you, you move into the realm of grace where the light exposes the darkness and God’s favour is released into that situation. We are told to pray for those who persecute us and not to get even. The world would rather seek vengeance or payback but all that does is turn a small fire into a roaring blaze. When you step out in love you put the fire out. When you show love towards those who hurt you, you release God’s love into that situation so that they will see the error of their ways, and others will too. Praise God today that His ways are above our ways and as we show love towards our enemies,God’s peace, love and favour can fill our lives and those around us.
