God is wants relationship and not just religious activity

I want you to show love, not offer sacrifices. I want you to know me more than I want burnt offerings. Hos 6:6. God is interested in relationship and not just activity. Church attendance without loving God or seeking to know Him each day will not please Him. Even in ministry its so easy to get caught up in the ministry of the Lord that you neglect the Lord of the ministry. God does not want you to be obliged to do anything, it must always flow from a heart of love for Him. When you have a personal relationship with Jesus and walk closely with the Father, loving others becomes so much easier. God will give you a heart for the unloveable. And as your action are motivated by love, what you do on the outside will touch people so much more on the inside. Praise God today for loving you just as you are right now, and as you draw nearer to Him, He will start to refine you to be the very best that you can be.
