Discipline and success go hand in hand to bring out God’s best in our life

To learn, you must love discipline; it is stupid to hate correction. Pr 12:1. Self discipline is like fuel for a car, without it you’re not going anywhere. A key element of learning and growing is to keep applying ourselves to whatever we are doing, whether it’s work, study or relationships, and not giving up. Correction, guidance and advice is there to help keep us moving in the right direction. We can either learn for ourselves, or if not, we may require correction. The wise will learn from this as sharpening involves removing the blunt edges that can be painful at times, whilst the fool will ignore correction and lose out. God created us to be victorious in all areas of our life. It’s His desire that we do our best in all things, and so He will guide our steps as we lean on Him. Praise God today that He desires the very best for us, and as we do our very best, God will do the rest. Prayerchair.org
