Contentment with whatever we have is a key to strength in God
Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth. After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it. So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content. 1 Tim 6-8. Don’t try to keep up with others, learn to be content with what you have and you will be truly blessed. Our joy doesn’t come from material things but rather from our relationship with God and with others. As we learn to be content with whatever we have where ever we are, we can live a peaceful life without striving or anxiety. Everyone has problems, but the key difference is that with Jesus in your heart you can rest in Him and His assurance, and walk through life’s storms while retaining your peace. Praise God today that He is our joy and strength and in Him we have everything we need, and as we learn to rest in Him we can be content in all situations.
