Always guard your heart
But the LORD said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The LORD doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.” 1Sam16:7. Our heart mirrors who we are. Our character, our reactions to others and what happens to us flows from our heart. How we view God and our world all flows from our heart. While the world is concerned with popularity, what people look like on the outside and how much they have, God is concerned about who they are on the inside and their heart response to Jesus and others. You must guard your Heart from becoming hard to God and others. Worship Him with all your heart today. Just come into His presence and ask Him to help you with any areas you may be struggling with and to let the fruits of the Spirit flow through you in even greater measure to touch the lives of others with Gods love.
