A heart set on God, is a life set for God’s best
A single day in your courts is better than a thousand anywhere else! I would rather be a gatekeeper in the house of my God than live the good life in the homes of the wicked. PS 84:10. There’s an old saying – that home is where the heart is. Where is your heart and what do you long for? More of God, or more of the world? Of course we live in the world and it’s God’s desire that we live a blessed life, but what is your over arching desire that in one sense acts as a rudder for the decisions you make in your life? Our desire to draw nearer to God and His presence will guide our life in a way that will please Him and position us to receive His best. To chase and be ambitious for the things of the world over our love for God will push us away from Him and His covering over our life. Praise God today that as we seek Him above all else, He will bless our hearts desires and meet all our needs.
